Bring timeless style and everyday durability to your home with the Marquis Rug in Oxford. Featuring a beautifully distressed, traditional Persian-inspired design, this classic area rug gives you the elegant look of a rare antique find with modern-day resilience in a desaturated Oxford palette finished with a sustainable recycled polycotton backing backing for added stability and floor protection.

Key Features

  • A desaturated blend of deep teal blue, faded sage green, warm beige, and earth-toned brown accents.
  • Features an intricate traditional center medallion motif with an ornate faded border, offering an authentic antique look.
Care & Maintenance
  • Polyester performance rugs deliver a durable indoor rug.
  • Vacuum regularly on a low-suction setting to easily lift dirt and debris without pulling the synthetic yarns.
  • Do not pull loose threads; trim loose fibres with scissors to the height of the rug pile.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth to prevent liquids from setting into the weave; never rub or scrub the fibers.
  • Spot clean with a mixture of warm water and mild detergent, then blot the area dry with a clean paper towel.
  • Avoid excess moisture, as the cotton backing should stay dry to prevent mildew buildup.
  • Keep out of direct sunlight and rotate your rug often to protect the fibers from UV damage and prevent uneven fading.
  • Professional deep cleaning is always recommended for best results.
  • We recommend a rug pad to prevent shifting on smooth surfaces while protecting your hardwood or laminate floors from friction.
